My kunafeh brownies bring both of those things into one bake, and the result is something that surprises people in the best way.
I make every batch from scratch. The brownie base is made with real butter and proper chocolate, and not a mix. The kunafeh layer is prepared separately with shredded kataifi pastry, cooked until golden and finished with a light syrup before being combined with the brownie layer while still warm. The result is a bake that has a soft, rich centre and a crispy, fragrant base.
